Ah, I have love-hate feelings toward some of my works as well. I love that I completed it and everything works well, but I hate it's inaccuracies and minor mistakes....

For this piece, I really like that you stuck to a blue color scheme, emphasizing the loneliness of the theme. The abstractedness also adds to the piece, making it more of a thinking piece rather than an illustrated point of view.

Superb job and keep it up (^-^)!

I do love this! It looks so cold and dark...fits very well with the 'gone' theme. And for watercolors, it looks amazingly vibrant! At first I thought it was acrylics...but well. My watercolor usually looks pale -.-

I honestly don't think there is anything that would better represent the concept of "Gone" than this piece does. You caught the exact feeling and the exact message... The story and idea behind it is truly striking. I love the effect you got, and the textures. But overall the pure expression and... well, the story one percieves while looking at it just says everything. I love the lines coming out of the bird. They radiate the feeling that he is trying to hold on and bring back what's gone, even though it's hopeless.

Ah, it's ok.. I haven't been online on dA for ages myself anyway! Haven't been commenting at all lately... I'm just too damn busy, and tired, to do that. But after I get all this school stuff outta my head I can start hanging around on dA more often again.

I understand that all too well -.- Soon school will start again, and then I'll have to concentrate on that...hehe, one of the reasons why I took arts as main subject is that I'll be able to combine hobby and school work ;-P Same with English...I think I've chosen well for the following year, at least I hope so..
